airmata - Come to Amsterdam!

We are inviting choirs, ensembles, singers, bands and musicians to come to the Netherlands to perform with the FireChoir.

In 2009 the choirs from Central Bible College came to Holland to sing with the Choir. It was a huge success. The FireChoir was excited having American guests and the groups that came had an incredible experience.

We are planning opportunities for both groups and individuals to come. If you want to come without a group, we plan to bring together interested individuals to come here to Amsterdam as a group. This is not just for students or teachers, but for average adults (although we don't think of you as just average if you want to come to Europe!) and also professional musicians.

Soloists, singers & choirs

We are looking for people, (singers, soloists, choirs and ensembles) that want to come to Amsterdam for a 1 or 2 week missions trip. You would be singing and performing with the FireChoir in their public concerts in Amsterdam. Some times we also sing outside the city and/or country.

You would be part of the FireChoir from the start of the "season". You would receive all the music and rehearsal soundtracks to prepare for your trip to Amsterdam. Upon arriving in Amsterdam, you would have several days to practice with the Amsterdam Gospel FireChoir in preparation for the concerts.

Instrumentalists

We need instrumentalists to play with our band at our concerts:

Brass
Woodwinds
Strings
Keyboards

You would be part of the FireChoir from the start of the "season". You would receive all the music and rehearsal soundtracks to prepare for your trip to Amsterdam. Upon arriving in Amsterdam, you would have several days to practice with the Amsterdam Gospel FireChoir BAND in preparation for the concerts. Our band at the moment is Rhythm, Percussion, Guitars, Keyboard, Sax and Violins. We want to build a bigger sound with your help!

Door-to-Door Campaigning

Four times a year we campaign throughout Amsterdam and surrounding communities to make presence known in Amsterdam.

At the beginning of each season, we campaign (using various methods according to how many people we have to help) to recruit new members into the choir as well as promote our 'end-of-season concerts'.

In our campaigns we walk door to door to homes, apartments, and town houses to distribute invitations and information about the FireChoir. We also glue up posters on outdoor public advertising tubes and distribute fliers. We depend on these campaigns to bring in new people to our choir and concerts.

This is a lot of work, but it always yields great success! We invite individuals and/or teams of people to come and help "blitz" Amsterdam with the Good News!

Are you trained or have gifts in a specific field?

We need associates who will come to work with us for a longer period of time. Between 1 to 2 years in length. Here are the areas in which we need help with:

Choir Directors (To assist with the Amsterdam FireChoir as well as to establish new choirs in other cities)
Band Director (To assist with the Amsterdam FireChoir and possibly other FireChoirs that are established)
Multimedia (We need people who are strong in video production. We want to not only record our concerts, but more importantly, we want to incorporate video into our concert programs.)
General Assistant (There are many aspects to the FireChoir ministry. A full-time assistant is needed)
